Founder & CEO
Mindy Minto is the Founder and CEO of Spectrum Sitters overseeing all aspects of the business. Mindy graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA focused in Finance & Accounting. She has worked for the last 17 years for many of Austin's large corporations in a finance role. Mindy launched Spectrum Sitters in 2016 knowing from personal experience that there was a huge need for this service. As a mother of a child with autism, Mindy is determined to make a better, easier life for her son Charlie. She is relentless in her efforts to raise awareness, acceptance, and inclusiveness for those with autism and other special needs.
Director of Development Intern
Delaney has been with Spectrum Sitters since it's inception. She is a University of Texas graduate earning a degree from the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. She is pursuing her master's degree at the University of North Texas studying to become a Speech & Language Pathologist. She has been working with children and adults with special needs since she was a teenager. Serving children with special needs is her passion.
Our Spectrum Sitters
- Are professionals or students in special education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral therapy, nursing, psychology, Child- Life, and early childhood education.
- Have passed a rigorous background check.
- Are CPR/AED/1st Aid certified.
- Completed initial training and further ongoing training led by some of the best local area pediatric therapy clinics and field professionals.
